The Beckham Bird Club birded around the backside and the outside area of
Bernheim Forest today Jan. 29.
Above average wind and weather produced 27species they are:
Canada Geese
Cooper hawk
Red-shoulder hawk
Red tail hawk
American Kestrel
Rock Pigeon
Mourning Dove
Northern Flicker
Pileated Woodpecker
Blue Jay
American Crow
Carolina Chickadee
Carolina Wren
Eastern Bluebird
American Robin
European Starling
Eastern Towhee
American Tree Sparrows
Field Sparrow
Song Sparrow
Swamp Sparrow
White throated Sparrow
Dark-eyed Junco
Northern Cardinal
Red Wing Blackbird
Purple Finch - 12
American Goldfinch
There was one bird that might appeared to be an eagle but from the
distance and the silhouette we could not confirm it. Thanks to everyone who
showed up.
