24 January 2006:
A brief stop at Petros Pond in Warren County yesterday revealed that recent
rains have lifted the pond from its âformalâ boundaries. This has inspired
me to hope that even though the winter has thus-far been dry, that the
Transient lakes, may appear this year.
Present yesterday afternoon at about 3:30 PM CST, were 12 Canada Geese and 5
Mallards. The Black-Duck/Geese/Things were absent, thank God.
That concludes this report.
