[birdky] BKY: yellow-rumps vs. target practice

When I entered my kayak this afternoon on the back creeks of Blood River
(Ky. Lake), I was met with a little flock of 15-20 yellow rumps, a winter
wren, and a barred owl calling. It looked like a promising bird cruise
until target practice started in earnest on the banks of the creek on
Parker's Field Ky. Wildlife Management property. After all of the
explosions, the resident kingfisher was the only one brave enough to show
itself. When I paddled up to the source of the noise, two men told me they
were only target practicing. My truck was parked at the "practice". I
waited until they were gone, and upon leaving I removed their homemade
target. Is target practice legal on Ky. WLM?
