[birdky] sadly, a Great Horned Owl was electrocuted

in my backyard--or rather where four yards meet--in a Danville
subdivision a couple of days ago. There is a utility pole there and
apparently a transformer. According to my neighbor, KU said there was
some kind of screen around the transformer, but sadly it didn't keep the
owl out. This owl had been in our neighborhood for a long time. When he
hooted at night, it scared my dogs.
