Minus 5 degrees was the low temperature at Short Creek, Ky this
morning. The full moon was brilliant. I have now replenished both
feeder stations twice today.Nothing unusual except that the gray
squirrel was stretched out across the bird bath helping himself to
a drink of water early this day. Heavy snow falling here for an hour
with accumulation from day before yesterday still on the ground.Two
Carolina Wrens have joined the flock of Cardinals, White-throated
and White-crowned sparrows, plus Song sparrow, Towhees;Hairy, Downy,
and Red-bellied Woodpeckers;Juncoes, Chickadees,Titmouse;White-breasted 
Nuthatch and yes there is one bird on the ground that I can't identify.
Grayish big sparrow type bird with a single white slash of a wingbar.
Slightly larger than a fox sparrow. 22 degrees and snow still falling.
