I'm interested in purchasing a SLR camera and appropriate equipment to
photograph birds. I was wondering if anyone has some helpful tips on what
brands of camera and lens that are required to take moderate quality pictures.
Also I don't know whether to go with something like an 800mm lens or a spotting
scope to photograph at a distance. Any information will be appreciated on this
topic.
