A large number of vultures continue to roost in the vicinity of Rough River 
State Park: 100 Black Vultures
                  400 Turkey Vultures

Other highlighted species:
                  3 Great-horned Owls
                  1 Barred Owl
All owls were accounted for during daylight hrs. Red-tailed hawks
and American Kestrels were numerous.
                  1 Loggerhead Shrike
                  1 Marsh Wren
                  1 Golden-crowned Kinglet
                  1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet
