KOS 80th Anniversary Spring Meeting 
to be held at Blue Licks State Resort Park

The Spring 2003 KOS meeting will be held Friday-Sunday, April 25-27, 2003 
at Blue Licks State Resort Park in Mount Olivet, Ky.

Thirty-four rooms and two cottages 
are being held at Blue Licks only until February 15, 2003.
So make your reservations early to insure your lodging. 
You can make reservations by calling 800/443-7008. 

Lodge rooms are $45.00 per night single occupancy or $55.00 double occupancy; 
two-bedroom cottages are $98 per night; the campground provides 52 sites with 
utilities. 

We will be celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Kentucky Ornithological 
Society 
at this meeting!

Bob Russell from Mendota, Minnesota will present a Shorebird Identification 
Workshop on that Saturday afternoon and he will also be Saturday night's 
speaker with a Shorebird Migration presentation.  Mr. Russell is a  Nongame 
Bird Biologist and the Midwest shorebird coordinator with the USFWS Division of 
Migratory Birds in Twin Cities, MN.

And the new Annotated Checklist is at the printer now and will be available for 
sale at this meeting!

We will post a full meeting schedule on the KOS website as soon as possible.
