I've updated the diff file to remove config.sub.
I think that's a problem with the 'recommended' way to diff source
tarballs, we may need to update the Wiki page to better reflect the
Haiku case. I thought it was a problem with one of Ingo's ports, sorry.
I'm trying to get each one to build as a native haiku build, rather
than trying --build=i586-beos. That way if/when the beport program is
working it will be able to follow the bep file script and just work
(in theory?).
Theoretically we could tell the BepFile to specify that argument to
configure but long-term you're right of course to correctly port it. I
just was in a hurry and didn't see the point to port libiconv if Haiku
is supposed to have iconv support, rendering libiconv redundant.
I'll watch my PortLog updates and leave prior work in place, perhaps
striking out parts that are no longer needed?
Feel free to, that would be fine with me. We should just somehow leave
recognizable who wrote what in case there are questions.
