That's interesting. The lone one I saw in the 2nd 10 min session was medium 
speed like Geminids usually, and dim (3rd mag), but in the 1st session, the 
many short fast ones were bright, 1 and 2 mag. My limit is 5.2 mag. All came 
from the radiant however. The N Taurids may still be active.

I saw lots of Geminids Wednesday night at Hovatter Norte just doing the usual 
looking up during an observing run.  I was focused on galaxies and bright 
nebulae with the 25" but noticed an unusual number of meteors, mostly 
Geminids.  Lots of short, fast buggers and a couple really bright.  Even had a 
lightning flash while I was looking at my observing list.  Looks like you guys 
may have a good show Thursday night. It really wasn't very cold Wednesday 
night. I never even wore gloves or put my parka hood over my skull cap.  You 
should have a great time if this incredibly clear sky holds.
