[AZ-Observing] Re: Geminids

I saw lots of Geminids Wednesday night at Hovatter Norte just doing the usual
looking up during an observing run. I was focused on galaxies and bright
nebulae with the 25" but noticed an unusual number of meteors, mostly Geminids.
Lots of short, fast buggers and a couple really bright. Even had a lightning
flash while I was looking at my observing list. Looks like you guys may have a
good show Thursday night. It really wasn't very cold Wednesday night. I never
even wore gloves or put my parka hood over my skull cap. You should have a
great time if this incredibly clear sky holds.
