[AZ-Observing] Re: Report on Hovatter site

If you are scouting sites I would like to put in my vote for I-8
sites!! Sites along I-10 may be convenient for Phonecians but are
simply untenable for Tucsonans or anyone else coming from our
direction. To access these sites we have to go through Phoenix and
contend with much heavier traffic, possibly rush hour traffic if going
out on a Friday, a two hour drive may double. On the other hand I-8 is
positively pleasant to drive, not to mention scenic. I love making the
turn off of I-10 onto I-8 and leaving the traffic behind.
I suspect anyone coming from the eastern Phoenix metro area (Gilbert,
Chandler etc.) may have the same issues, finding it easier to head south
then west on roads with much lighter traffic.
