Based on air miles from central Phoenix, it seems like the Hovatter site should
be a little darker than Sentinel. I measure 90 miles for Hovatter, and 80 for
Sentinel. Here is a direct link to the night sky brightness map for the region
of interest.

The cross is centered on Kofa, which is about 10 miles to the west of Hovatter.
That would put Hovatter near the right end of the symbol. Shown on a same map
(at 5 o'clock fromk Kofa) is a much smaller cross that indicates the location
of Sentinel. It looks like the only downside compared to Sentinel is that the
lights to the east of Yuma are now placed more to the south.
Eliminating the drive on SR 85 (or Maricopa Road for some of us)would be a
welcome change.
