He's just basically giving a tongue-in-cheeky statement there, that he's
just eyeballing it. That's the method I mostly use when I'm writing a
description although I'm not doing the "rigorous" math. My field of view on
my 9 Nag is 24', so I should be breaking it up into four quarters of 6'
bites, then break up the 6' into individual minutes. Cool! Consider that
stolen too!
