Reportedly, there is an Atlas II rocket launch scheduled for 2 am (PST)
[3 am MST in PHX] Tues. Dec. 2, 2003 from Vandenberg AFB, California.
((Shhhhhhhh! It's a SECRET Spy Mission!!))

NOTE that these "announced" times may be subject to change without
notice!!
Sometimes the launch contrail is visible from the west end of the valley
in Phoenix, as the missile rises over the Pacific Ocean, beyond the
White Tanks Mountains. Several times I have seen the "staging" as the
upper stage rocket motors are fired for Vandenberg launches.
