[AZ-Observing] Re: The Last Sentinel-Schwaar Star Gaze the weekend

I was in a group of people who had to wait for a train to move to
gain access to this site. It was well after sunset when it finally moved.
As I recall I met Pierre at the old Buckeye hills site in 1985. He
always was happy to adjust your collimation and he did so after I bought
my 13.1 " Colter light bucket. He was also happy to share a view through
his telescope. As I remember Pierre would drive to any dark site and I
followed him to some of the best ones. So I think that Pierre would be
happy with the Antenna site or wherever we decide to hold a star party
to honor his memory. It is the "folks and scopes" that make it special.

Exactly, and my point is that those are the same tracks and the same
type of
unlighted "grade crossings" that must be crossed in the dark at
sentinel. -Paul
