[AZ-Observing] Re: Comet Holmes Nov 1

I was surprised at how much detail it showed even in binoculars
tonight. Just took a quick few looks when I set the scope up but now
I'm waiting for it to cool down. The inner core is much fainter than
a few days ago and the edge of the outer coma is much less symetric
and much more poorly defined. 

Of course, it will probably look better once the high school turns of
the lights and when I get dark adapted. 

This is really a phenominal comet even thought it doesn't have a
visible tail from mediocre skies.
