Gang,
For the Mercury transit, my stacked Coronado was great as was the Crown King
weather
at 6,000 feet. My 12x60 Coronado binoculars, however, didn't work well.
Since I broke my leg clearing my land against fire and now hobble around, I
didn't
take my telescope to the little one room red school house down the road. But I
managed
to show Mercury to the only teen in the village who is getting his high school
degree
via computer.

Penasco: Call my cell # Greetings, North Rimmers! GCSPNorthRim2007 will be
nights of June 9th -13th. Chuck Schroll wanted those dates so we can visit
Dean; we'll try it for a year. Also promised, but we will see...the dining room
porch darkened after 10:00. Also, perhaps you might like the NFRoad and Cape
Royal. Reserve a camping site, motel, Grand Canyon Lodge or Kaibab Lodge room
now. (There MAYBE some free group camping sites in the REGULAR camp ground. We
will know later on.) CAMPING: Spherix 800-365-2267 Outside U.S. 301-722-1257
http://nps.gov Try now but they may make you wait until January for camping
reservations; GRAND CANYON LODGE or the Motel by the camp ground Xanterra
888-297-2757 or 303-297-2757 www.grandcanyonnorthrim.com KAIBAB LODGE by the
park border 928-638-2389. After, I suggest Bryce Canyon National Park Star
Party June 13-16 or joining Dean at the South Rim 9-16th.
