[AZ-Observing] Re: Venus and Jupiter in morning sky

A visiting Finnish grad student, Mikael Granvik, has been very
pleased to see this and other things in the sky in recent weeks that
are not normally visible form Finland. Last night he got to see
Canopus as well as Venus+Jupiter. (Recall that Sirius comes up about
as high in Finland as Canopus does here.) Even just seeing Venus in
a dark sky (from Anderson Mesa) has been a spectacle for him, so this
morning he could hardly take his eyes off the pair as we were driving
home from observing at 5.30a.
