[AZ-Observing] Leonids from Benson

Underwhelming, one word to some it up, after all the build up, forecasts
and hype. A perfectly good meteor shower by any other standards, but
not what was expected after last year.
The predictions were perfectly correct the timing, but way off on the
quantity, and our spot against the side of Rincon Peak was as about good
as possible given the moonlight. There was certainly a flurry at the
1030UT point lasting about 20-30min, but most were dim, short lived and
left no trains. A few good fireballs, but again nothing to compare with
the spectacular ones from last year. Aside from the peak activity was
pretty slow with a few small flurries and many quiet periods lasting
many minutes.
Have to see what the official counts show.
