The tail of a cold front was just passing as things cranked up here.
My impression was that the count-rate was about like last year, roughly 10-12
per minute, running for nearly 30 minutes, then dropping as suddenly as
it started. Very intermittent activity with gaps of a full minute
between bursts of several within a few seconds. Saw one instantaneous
cluster of five within about 10 deg diameter that was impressive.
Certainly no thousands per hour kind of activity.
