[AZ-Observing] Re: Bolide!

Brett,
I saw that one too. We were about 100 miles north of you, on a small
plateau southeast of Kingman, and it was a spectacular sight, long and
slow, traveling east to west while flashing many different colors,
rivalling the brightest Leonid fireball we saw the whole night. I *think*
one of the color cameras caught the end of it; if it did I'll post the
image as soon as I have it.
I figure it had to be a piece of space junk, as indicated by the
west-to-east trajectory, slow speed, and many different colors (indicating
flame ionization of many different materials).
