[AZ-Observing] Re: Comet 2000 WM1 (LINEAR)

I picked up comet Linear from my light-polluted NE Phoenix back yard
with a 4" f5 refractor at 20X last night. I agree with Rick's assesment ; it
was fainter than I expected, just a dim, diffuse fan-shaped glow. I did find
it from the coordinates listed at the S & T web site by plotting on
Megastar. I didn't try their chart. I think it will look much better
in a dark sky at higher magnification.
