Brett,
The original plan was for Sentinel. However the military has been using the
Goldwater Range on weekends lately, dropping a lot of flares. Steve Coe
suggested a sight about 5 miles south of I-10 on Vicksburg Rd. It's about
103 miles from the I-10/I-17 Stack, which is the same driving distance as
Sentinel. I know Steve & A.J are planning to head out there as well as Thad
and myself. I spoke with Chuck Akers yesterday and he indicated that he
would be seeking a closer location. I imagine the activity will pick up as
to who's going where as the date nears.

Subject: [AZ-Observing] leonids show
so the list has been fairly quiet, and i don't recall the general consensus
on where folks are going to watch the leonids. was there a particular
"popular" place chosen? is it too cold to go up to cherry road?
