I thought I had seen this on M42 with the Televue. I could not be sure.
I don't have a blinking arrangement and it is difficult to remember what
one sees after having to spend the time to switch diagonals, switch the
eyepiece, and refocus.

Okay. It looks like I made the wrong test for the coatings. It appears I
should be using higher magnification eyepieces to test them out.
