FreeLists / az-observing / [AZ-Observing] T-Bird Star Party and 13.1" DOB for Sale

This coming Saturday (20 October 2007) is the SAC Thunderbird Star 
Party. This usually has a great turnout of both telescopes and 
guests. It's open to the public and free. For more information see:

As usual I will be bringing my big 13.1" DOB. Old Yellar. I am 
selling it and anyone wishing to give it a try is most welcome to 
come to the star party and take a view. Details on the sale and the

I have too many things going and just do not have the time or energy 
to continue to use this telescope. It is not for a beginner, but can 
provide a super scope at a price that will not break the bank for an 
intermediate or advanced user. If I do not sell it before or at the 
star party I will put it on the market at AstroMart, but wanted to 
give the local folks first shot at it. If you have any questions,
