[AZ-Observing] Mercury Transit Wed 8 Nov 06

I will be setting up two telescopes (6" and 60mm refractors) with sun
filters for the Transit of Mercury on Wednesday, 8 November 2006 at
the Desert West Senior Center, 6501 West Virginia (just south of
Thomas on 67th Ave). I have solar filters for both scopes and plan to
use one for visual observing an one with a CCD camera and laptop.
Rumor has it there will be refreshments. Anyone wishing to help or
come have a peak is invited. Let me know if you have any questions.
I understand ASU West will be hosting a Transit party too as well as PVCC.
