In the year 1905 a young Albert Einstein published 3 articles in the journal
Annalen der Physik. The publication of these papers demonstrated the
creative thought that resulted in Einstein's 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics.
Einstein would later characterize 1905 as the year "...a stom broke loose
in my mind."
Black holes, gravitational lensing, special and general relativity theory,
in honor of Einstein's "Miracle Year" will be the subject matter of
tonight's lecture given by Professor Dimitrios Psaltis.
