[AZ-Observing] Weekend Weather

From the Thursday 3 a.m. Phoenix forecast discussion:
BY FRI HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED IN MEXICO WILL WILL BUILD NORTH INTO AZ AND
CONTINUE THROUGH SAT. THIS WILL BRING MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES TO OUR REGION.
HOWEVER...BY FRI NIGHT/SAT AS THE RIDGE BUILDS AND FLOW BECOMES SW...SOME
MID/HI CLOUDS WILL BEGIN TO FILTER INTO OUR REGION.
The Environment Canada cloud and transparency maps show a thin band of
clouds passing through the All-AZ star party site from the southwest in
agreement with the NWS forecast. This is followed by a period of good
transparency, with intermittent high clouds thereafter.
Right now it looks like Friday may be the better night, but neither of
them look stellar.
Tom
