Thanks, Gene. I suppose, then, the glass over the mausoleum keeps the glass
blocks from getting dirty, etc?

Hi Dick,
From personal observation.... The tiles in the dome on the Lowell
Mausoleum (just a few steps away from the 24 inch Clark telescope) are
thick blocks of blue glass, which let light through.
