That's a great idea! (and just in time for the 5 mile meadow star party) I
have the perfect Velcro strap (2" wide and fits the scope perfectly with
space to spare) What would be "normal" placement of heaters? Clock
position ---> (3,6,9,and 12) or (4,8, and 12) or such? Placed below a dew
shield (like on the OTA)? No dew shield (straight onto the collector plate
ring)? With the lack of dew we seem to have vs. other places, it seems to be
a rather economical solution over buying a dew zapper or such...

That's right Jimmy. I use a Velcro strap for the corrector plate. Rubber
bands for the eyepieces.
