[AZ-Observing] Re: NYTimes.com: Lockheed Wins Job of Building Next Spaceship

Stan, Rick Etc,
The article was referencing the fact that B-N's experience is based on
acquired Companies (McDonnell Douglas & Grumman) that built the Mercury,
Gemini Apollo Command /Service Module (MDD) and the Lunar Module (Grumman).
It Mentioned that LM Martins "Inexperience" came in the realm of Manned
Spaceflight. It did acknowledge that LM had extensive experience in unmanned
space exploration & missile technologies.

Spaceship
Rick,
My information was from the news article that was referenced in Az-observing
yesterday. Unfortunately, I have already deleted the message and so I do not
have the url to go back and reread it. If the news article was highly
biased, than I would like to know in what way.
Also, as you can see in my one sentence question below, I made no comparison
to LM but would like to know more about how it compares to B-N - If you
know. The news article did not say much about LM except to give an
impression, as I recall, that its experience was significantly less than B-N
with regard to the contract that was awarded. Is the the experience of LM in
this context incorrect?
