To an extent, this is already being done by Torus with their mirrors - though I 
agree that a database of mirrors from multiple manufacturers and a common test 
environment would be very telling.

My particular 15" mirror is not in the database, but I've been absolutely 
nothing but happy with it up to this point.  I finally understand what people 
mean when they say that the seeing limits resolution more than any other factor 
most of the time.
