Steve,
Thank you for jogging my sagging memory about Peter's service as 
President of SAC.  (Gerry Rattley was VP, and I served my time that year 
as some sort of flunky, probably Properties Director, schlepping the 
signs and equipment...)
I am indeed gathering notes for an obituary for the SAC newsletter and 
would welcome any additional juicy tidbits....
Also, thanks for sharing the story about his neighbor and the time 
check, or as Peter referred to it on his many recordings, "WWV's 
Greatest Hits", Volume ZZZ.....
For some of you other folks who may not have been in the club then, 
Steve did an excellent job explaining astrophotography in his segment of 
the KAET Channel Eight "SpaceProbe 8" shows in 1985....
