     Well, there is the 'Astrophysics Rumor Mill', which has been
running in various forms by various people (specifically those 
hunting for jobs), which seems to be presently at:

If you look at the 'last batch of updates' you can see what's 
offered:  (rumors of) who has applied or made the short-list for
various jobs.  Very interesting looking at it just now, since there
are people I know evidently applying for jobs.  At least one of the
rumors is wrong/out-of-date, since that person has accepted a
tenure-track sort of job at Lowell and is already moved into 
his office!
     The CFH Telescope librarian, Liz Bryson, keeps an astronomy
meetings list here:
