[AZ-Observing] Meeting Announcements

In the area of evolutionary biology I belong to a list group that is
strictly devoted to announcements of jobs, post docs, graduate and ph.d.
opportunities, and professional meetings. One does not have to be a
member of some professional organization to belong to it, and it is
professionally oriented. Is there any such similar group for astronomy,
and if not strictly for astronomy then at least in combination with
physics? My primary interest in belonging to such a group is to get
announcements of professional meetings without having to belong to
n-number of individual groups associated with specific organizations, or
to have to constantly reference web sites of professional organizations.

p.s. Sorry for the multiple posts in the event Paul releases the two
other messages I sent. They were rejected because of an 's' word, which
I cannot repeat here or else this message will also be rejected. I
wonder if this a peculiarity of Ecartis.
