[AZ-Observing] Disk Space

Ok time for my 2 cents. I agree with Paul's institution of limits. Why? I
too belong to many other lists and I for one am sick of spending 20 minutes
reading 25 messages that only contain a few lines of new text. As far as
space goes lets look at it as a percentage. If you reply to a message that
is 20 lines with a 2 line response the server now hold 22 lines correct? Now
add the quoted text to your reply and it becomes 42 lines. This means 92% of
the text is duplicated. Now assume someone replies to that message, etc.
Sure its only a few hundred Kilobytes but multiply that by millions of
users. It's not just about storage either. The more data out there running
around on the internet the slower it gets. Just like a traffic jam on the
freeway (or is it Parkway). All it takes is a sweep of the mouse and a press
of "delete" to clear out the unwanted text. Not that big of a deal if you
ask me.
