This might be reasonable if there is decimal place missing:
1.0 to 1.5 arcseconds wide. Carl Hergenrother's 61-inch observations
down in Tucson showed that the brightening right after impact was
confined to the seeing-disc of the pseudo-nucleus, which rules out the
10-15 arcseconds figure.
