I'm usually a stickler for off-topic posts on this list, but if it affects
my ability to use public lands for dark site observing in Arizona, then in
my opinion, this is the place for it.  I don't have my own back-yard
observatory, so I have to drive to secluded spots, usually on public lands,
to do serious observing.  If something impacts my ability to do that in
Arizona, then this is the place for me to find out about it, IMHO.  If
government passed a law banning the use of all astronomical telescopes in
the state of Arizona, I'd expect to see something about it on this list.  If
we're banned from posting that type of information here, then I need to find
an alternate Arizona observing list.
