Astroman!  Thank you thank you thank you!
Did you bring your scope to work today?  I was going to but thought it
wouldn't be necessary for viewing the Moon and Venus.  I saw zero nothing
zilch through the clouds with binocs though.  Maybe I'll bring my scope for
the Jupiter Occultation on August 15th if you think it would help on a
cloudy day?  Please bring your photos to SAC 8/3 or tell me when you post
them on your site.  Please tell me, was it really great to view?

                I viewed it, and took pictures through high clouds and a C8,
not necessarily 
                in that order.  I hope they come out.  I saw both the
disappearence and 
                reappearence or, second and fourth contact for you sticklers
out there.  :-)
