[AZ-Observing] Re: BRIGHT meteoric flash

The flash was visible from Doney Mtn picnic area (N35d 31'55.0"; W111d
24'16.0"), about 26 miles north of Flagstaff, where Brent Archinal and I were
observing. I had my back turned when the first flash went off and turned
around in time to see two others. There impression I got was that there were
green, blue and yellow flashes. But it's difficult to know since they
happened so quickly. We did not see the bollide associated with the flashes
as it was behind a cinder cone. Brent noted the time as 12:27 a.m. MST, if I
recall correctly.
Earlier, I saw a fireball (~ mag. of -3) which shot southeast-northwest
through Bootes along a path just below and parallel to Epsilon and Sigma/Rho
Bootis.

Bill
