Maybe we can bring the SAC 8-inch Binocular Telescope for a real comparison
test!

If you've ever been interested in Binoviewers, this is the weekend to come
out to Vekol Road. We'll have at least 5 different brands of binoviewers
available for comparison on Saturday night (weather permitting). There will
be 3 Nexstar 11GPS telescopes set up for side by side comparisons. There are
also a few refractors and reflectors lined up and the binos will be
available for you to try out in your own scope.
The cost: I just want your opinions. I got interested in binoviewers, and
since I couldn't find any real comparison reviews, decided to write one. I'm
planning to write a review for Allister St. Claire's Cloudy Nights web site,
so the more objective evaluations, the better. This can also be published in
the EVAC newsletter.
Binoviewers to be reviewed
B&W Optik (APM-US)
Celestron (Baader)
Denkmeier Deep Sky
LOMO
Televue
Maybe more!
I've got several pairs of eyepieces lined up.
