[AZ-Observing] Re: Recent Bad Seeing

Tom,

Seeing for Mars on Sarurday night was terrible.  I could barely use 100X
on the 4" refractor and, even then, focus was a question mark.  I noted
some very indistinct shadowing and a "white glow" that was probably
the S. polar cap.  No sign of the N.  Even this view was intermittent and
very infrequent.

I got very good views the previous weekend at twice the mag.
