May 17th - Heritage Square Viewing
Weather permitting (no precipitation and mostly clear skies)
the CAS will bring telescopes to Heritage Square (7:45pm - 9:30pm)
on Friday May 17th for the public to view the Moon and Jupiter.
There is no charge for this activity that appeals to all age
groups.

May 18th - CAS May Meeting.
The Coconino Astronomical Society will hold its May meeting
at Lowell Observatory's Steele Visitor Center at 6pm this
Saturday (May 18th).
Dr. Deidre Hunter, an astronomer at Lowell Observatory,
will give a presentation titled: "How Dwarf Galaxies Might Form
from Colliding Galaxies"
