Jimmy, that all sounds pretty good. I have riders on my insurance to
cover my two AP refractors against "all risks". It doesn't add much to
the annual premium. I recommend that to anyone who has a valuable
telescope.
Sorry you had such a rotten thing happen to you. I once had my G-11
mount blow over. It had a Desert Storm cover on it at the time. It
landed on my car and left a big dent in it, but the mount took very
little damage, and thankfully there was no scope on it at the time.
From that I learned not to put a cover on my scope when it's really
windy.
