[AZ-Observing] Experience with conditions near Ash Fork/Williams AZ?

I posted this query to "amastro" and Brian Skiff kindly
told me about the AZ-Observing email list ...
I am seriously consiidering buying property in the
Ash Fork - Williams area for astronomy.
I have been looking at the area via GoogleEarth, light
pollution overlay, terra-server, and topo maps, plus
talking to realtors. I know what can be learned from
cleardarksky etc, but there are limits to learning
from maps :-)
I plan on a visit to the area this spring; I'll bring a small
scope and can then sample the weather and seeing.
But of course it will only be a short-duration sample.
So I'd like to check a few of my assumptions about the
local weather-patterns and seeing with a local astronomer
familiar with typical weather patterns and seeing in the
Ash Fork / Williams area, both north and south of I-40.
If you fit that description and would be willing to engage in
a small email conversation, I'd appreciate it ...
