[AZ-Observing] clearing?

I just returned from the Lowe's on Dysart road and McDowell road. looking to
the west I could see some blue sky over the white tank mountains. But... (don't
kill me) I could also see a large white cloud that looks nasty. I will leave at
4:30 also and being so far west (111th ave and Thomas) I should be the first
in. I can still remember as Steve pointed out, the last outing with Pierre was
a little cloudy. A gathering of old friends showed up and between the clouds we
saw many wonderful things. This was the first outing post surgery for me and I
saw the "string of pearls" heading to Jupiter at 14th mag. I hope David fares
as well with his "new eyes".
In short nothing ventured, nothing gained.
