I witnessed the shuttle reentry from Tucson last night. I was
monitoring NASA TV to get the correct info to watch the reentry. It was
traveling at moch 17 & 45 miles above earth's sea level as it reached
northern Mexico. I saw it due south of Tucson's southern horizon at 0212
a good 20 degrees up. It left a plasma trail from horizon to horizon.
When I lost sight of it over the southeastern horizon it was over
eastern Texas approaching Louisiana What a sight. I wish that I would
have videotaped it.
