Once, about 10-15 years ago I spilled beer on my HP 15-C scientific hand 
calculator. I took it apart, rinsed it out in distilled water and let it 
dry for a day. I still have it and use it. Unfortunately, they stopped 
making this hand calculator, as I recently found out, but a bunch of 
owners are trying to get HP to reproduce them again. They are really 
great calculators, especially if you can wash em out after spilling beer 
on it.
