[AZ-Observing] Mira bright

Although Arizona skies are not exactly conducive to observing,
it seems worth mentioning that Mira has been coming up to a bright
maximum in recent weeks. Tonight (observing from almost-clear
McDonald Observatory) it is only slightly fainter than alpha Ari (V=2.0),
as bright as I've seen it. It has been coming up a tenth of a magnitude
or so each night this past week, so doesn't seem to have the peak yet.
At 2nd magnitude, it is easy to see naked-eye even from the city.
